It is our view that there is no gutter protection on the market that can provide you with a no maintenance solution as fine debris, dirt and seeds still can enter the gutter creating a slurry that can build up and lead to blockages in the gutters and downpipes.

This then becomes very costly to clean. The gutter guard needs to be removed, the gutters cleared and cleaned and the gutter guard replaced. In many cases the refit of the gutter guard is not always easy due to screw holes becoming enlarged and material deteriorating.

Over 50 percent of our clients who have gutter guard ask us to remove it. On average, the price to supply and install gutter guard equates (depending on home size) to approximately 5 years of gutter cleaning services and once installed the gutters still need cleaning.

Preventative maintenance is far better and cheaper in the long run. Some insurance companies may also not cover any claims if damage is caused by blocked gutters.
